Virtual Running Club Race Registration
Run, walk or hike to help commemorate Martin Luther.
What is a Virtual Race?
Virtual races are just like traditional races with a shirt, medal, bib, community and fun, but you can run, walk or hike your race wherever you want with whomever you want. Even on a treadmill! Racers report their time and then we send a medal to them for completing the race. What have you got to lose?
Register below now!
Already registered? Claim your account and report your time here.Looking for another race? Click here to see them all.
NOTE: We have sold out of medals for this event, but we will order more. Because they are manufactured overseas, they won't be in the US until about 6 weeks after the race. If you register for a medal and report your time, it will not ship until mid-December.
If you have raced with us before, this medal is the same high quality you have to come to expect from Virtual Running Club. We post graphics to Facebook, so be sure to follow us there.
There are a handful of shirt styles and fabrics to choose from. Please review the size charts as there is some variance in the shirt sizing.
Note: The locations of the imprints will vary slightly based on the size, cut and style of the shirt you select.
To help provide relief for recent disasters, a portion of each registration will be donated to Americares. If you're interested in contributing more, please give directly to them by clicking here.
Note - If you have already completed your race, you may put your time in now. If it's done at the point of registration, you do not need to worry about putting it in later on. You must report your time in order to earn your medal.

We know — there's a lot to read here — but this stuff is important and will answer a lot of your questions.
SHIRTS All shirts are printed to order, so please be sure to use the size charts to select the correct size. We will place two shirt orders for this race: one before the race and one after. Only those that register and pay for a shirt will receive one.
If you register by 10/9, your shirt should arrive by October 30.If you register after 10/9, your shirt should arrive around November 17.
MEDALSTo confirm that you completed your race, you need to report your time to your account (instructions will follow after you register). Only those that register and pay for a medal will receive one once their time is reported.
BIBSThere are two bib options: Customized Keepsake Printed Bibs & Digital Bibs(A "Bib" is the piece of paper that has your race number on it. In our virtual races they aren't required, but they are great for pictures!)
Customized Keepsake Printed Bibs are just like the bibs you see at traditional races. They are made of a "Tyvek" super sturdy paper and they are customizable.
If you register for a printed bib by 10/9, it will arrive before the race.If you register for a printed bib after 10/9, it should arrive by November 17.Your confirmation email will have a link to this generic digital bib.
RACE DAYThe official race day is October 31, 2017.Registration will be open through October 31, 2017.
To maintain the spirit of traditional races, we believe a medal should be earned by finishing the race. We verify that by requiring that you report a finish time to your account (claimed after you register). If you do not report a time, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A MEDAL. You have a one month grace period to report your time following the race.
The last day to submit your time is November 30, 2017.
As far as we’re concerned, race day is as listed above and we anticipate that most people will race that day - BUT - the advantage of having a virtual race is that you can do it when and where you choose. Because we strive to honor the tradition of in-person races, you will receive messages as if that is race day for you, but just know that we are okay with it if you need to do something different.
Once you submit payment, you will get two emails. One is the payment transaction receipt (from Authorize.net) and the other is the registration confirmation (from "Chiara at Virtual Running Club <firstname.lastname@example.org>).
The registration confirmation is very important. If you don't see it, please check your spam/promotion folder.
